Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Tips

Antibody diluents:

In many labs they use PBS buffer as the antibody diluents. However, more accurately, a typical antibody diluents should include sodium azide as a preservative, BSA as a stabilizator, etc. These additional agents facilitate recycle use of antibodies.

Attentions should be payed to the pH value of the antibody diluents. (better to be 7.4-7.6)
